Event submissions

You are responsible for the links, titles, blurbs, and other information you submit. By submitting a link, you represent that you have the right to submit it and to associate it with the event.

Ownership

You retain ownership of your story and any rights you already have in it. We do not claim ownership of stories submitted through external links.

Limited permission you grant us

By submitting to an event, you grant us a non-exclusive, revocable permission to display your submitted link, story title, author name or pen name, blurb, event status, score, ranking, and related metadata as needed to operate the platform, the event, leaderboards, and related reports or exports.

External hosting

Stories submitted through this site are hosted on third-party platforms. We are not responsible for the content, availability, policies, or technical operation of third-party sites.

Event rules and time zone

Each event may have its own rules, deadlines, prompts, bonuses, and scoring criteria. All event timing is governed by the time zone chosen for that event by its administrator. That declared event time zone controls deadlines, bonus windows, prompt days, and related calculations.

Removal and moderation

We may remove, reject, hide, or disqualify submissions that are invalid, inaccessible, misleading, abusive, duplicate, spammy, or inconsistent with event rules or site operation.

Accounts and contact information

If you provide an email address or other contact information, you agree it is accurate and that we may use it for event administration, support, and submission-related communication.

No guarantee

The site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, continued support for any third-party platform, or any particular event outcome.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, rankings, links, submissions, goodwill, or access arising from your use of the site.
