About A Feast of Fiction: The Second Indulgence

Following on the success of 2025's The First Indulgence, this year's event is even bigger and better! Join us for daily prompts Monday through Friday across the entire month of October! From psychological horror to sci-fi horror, and everything in between, these prompts will push your writing skills to their limit.

Engagement-based scoring and brackets ensure a fair competition, while the unranked bracket allows anyone to join in for as much or as little as they'd like. Never written horror? No problem! Many authors in the event are trying horror for the first time. The only truly terrifying story is the one where you don't enter.
